Our house is located in the heart of the Clignancourt district.

We are located in the heart of a very popular neighborhood populated by people from all over the world.

It was in 1898 that the Brothers of Saint-Vincent de Paul settled here and built the chapel and founded a House of Works intended to support the working and poor families of the district, both spiritually and materially.

THE COMMUNITY

Father Franck Zeuschner: Superior and Parish Priest

Father Jean-Luc Papet: Chaplain of the patro and Vicar.

Brother Rémi Gagnard: Director of the Patro

Brother Alexis Kleiner: Coordinator of the charitable works of the House

THE PARISH

On December 11, 1948, Cardinal Suhard, Archbishop of Paris, erected the chapel into a parish church.

In this poor neighborhood, the needs of the very diverse population
make precious both the family character of the parish life and the numerous activities of the Patronage for the human and Christian formation of young people.

THE PATRONAGE OF THE GAC

Original work of the House, the boss has seen generations and generations of boys and girls from the neighborhood. Still today, it is open every day and welcomes children and young people from 6 years old.

DEVOTION TO OUR LADY OF GOOD COUNSEL

It is to our Venerable Father Georges Bellanger (1861-1902) that the Religious of St. Vincent de Paul owe their devotion to Our Lady of Good Counsel.

As a young diocesan priest, Abbot Georges Bellanger made the soldiers of Arras, whose chaplain he was, love this image of the Virgin.

When he entered the Religious of Saint Vincent de Paul, he brought with him the beautiful image of the Mother of Good Counsel. He became Master of Novices and made her, until his death, the patroness of the novitiate to whom he entrusted his novices. Since then, the image, in a beautiful reliquary, watches over the novitiate.

Tribute to Father Chéreau

Father Dominique Chéreau left us on October 27, 2014. “The Man of Good Advice” is the story of this neighborhood priest. For 37 years, he exercised his ministry with exceptional dedication and an astonishingly communicative love of others, in a Christian community on the outskirts of Paris: that of the parish of Notre-Dame-du-Bon-Conseil. The idea for this film was born to highlight his action and his generous, strong and radiant personality.
