Project France 1 – Holiday camps for needy children

Centers de Paris - Aid for holiday departures (in progress)

Action taken:

When her husband died, a widow decided to donate €15,000 to children who could not go on vacation. The object was to enable them to discover France through holiday camps. She also wanted her donation to benefit over ten years.
Not knowing which organization to attribute it to, she contacted the Society of St Vincent de Paul, which directed her to the APJ-SVP Fund. The first of these ten operations was carried out in the summer Each of the 3 Centers received a grant of €500 to cover the arrival of 3 children.

Ongoing action :

The €13,500 has been placed and will be awarded in January in annual installments of €1,500 for the February or July settlements.

Your donations:

With 500 €, you allow 3 children to go to summer camp
holidays …
We are looking to raise €3,000 per year as a first step… to
increase this aid and extend it to the St Etienne and Longiron Centers
(completely independent of the €300,000 to be raised for children’s projects
and families in distress)

Situation :

Too many children cannot go on vacation because their needy families cannot afford it. The three Parisian Centers managed by the Religious of St Vincent de Paul (Centre of
Jeunesse Maurice Maignen and Center Jeanne d’Arc de Vaugirard, in the 15th arrondissement and the Groupe Amical Sportif de Clignancourt in the 18th arrondissement) already help families in need every year.

Among a few projects, that of the smile to be given back, over 10 years, to children who cannot go on vacation Centers de Paris (France) challenges us and motivates us…

… And you ?

Help us to help them …
