Situation :

A donation was received by the APJ-SVP Endowment Fund to ensure the drilling and equipping of a well in Africa. With its criteria, the Fund chose Ngambre: because, to benefit from drinking water, its villagers, often women and children, had to walk 12 km there and back, with heavy loads. The dissuasive aspect and the local opportunity of brackish water generated diseases of the schistosomiasis type. Action carried out: Construction

Among these examples of projects, that of access to drinking water by drilling a secure well in Ngambre (Burkina Faso) has a capital advantage: Eradication of diseases and end of the deterrence of a 12 km walk to bring a heavy load of water.
